Be Your Child’s First Teacher – Inspire Them For Future Success
Reading with your child not only nurtures their creativity and imagination but more importantly, leads to future success in school and life. Start reading with your child from birth, and discover the miracles of your child’s cognitive development, communication and concentration skills and the power of family bonding.
Anybody can read aloud, but storytelling is an art. To help your child fall in love with reading and spark their imaginations, SPRING’s 2 hour “Be Your Child’s First Teacher – Inspire Them For Future Success” short course delivered by Pauline Young will help parents to improve their storytelling by explaining:
- Why reading from birth is so important
- How to make reading aloud engaging and meaningful
- Understanding how being read to relates to school success
- How do we overcome challenges to reading aloud
- Creating a Daily Read Aloud routine
- How do we find the best books to read
“Be Your Child’s First Teacher – Inspire Them For Future Success” will be facilitated in English by Pauline Young, a published children’s book author. She is a passionate proponent of reading aloud and conducts regular trainings for Bring Me a Book Hong Kong.
